Outdoor grown Wheatgrass cut and bagged can be stored in the fridge for a week. Just juice what you need then place back in the fridge each day.
Cutting wheatgrass does not degrade the sell walls of the plant so the plant does not loose the goodness that is locked within it. In tests we have carried out here at the farm it as soon that once growing wheatgrass reaches it's operation high it soon starts to degrade, but if it is cut and kept cool it will maintain a good sell wall strength much longer than if left to grow. NEVER juice wheatgrass and store it not even in the fridge. Once wheatgrass is juiced the cell walls have been broken down and they start to degrade by means of oxidation. In a short time the Live Enzymes and many of the beneficial vitamins and minerals are destroyed and a taste of iron can soon start to come to the front when the juice is tasted.
